WHAT TO EXPECT
Repair-Focused Approach: Most claims are resolved through repairs. This approach helps control costs but may sometimes require additional visits to fully address ongoing issues.
Warranty Guidelines: The warranty provider determines the appropriate solution for any issue based on their policies.
OUR COMMITMENT
We are here to advocate for your needs and ensure repairs are completed as efficiently as possible. While we work within your warranty’s process, our priority is to restore your comfort promptly. Rest assured, we are dedicated to coordinating with your home warranty provider to deliver the best possible outcome for you.
DOCUMENTING YOUR EQUIPMENT’S CONDITION
In order to help your home warranty claim go smoothly, we document the condition of your equipment with detailed photographs. These photos are required by your home warranty company to verify the issue and determine coverage under your policy.
Our technicians follow the warranty company’s specific guidelines to ensure your claim moves forward. However, some claims may still be denied due to maintenance issues, pre-existing conditions, or exclusions in your policy.
Adhering to these requirements allows us to continue assisting you while ensuring our technicians can provide the necessary support.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER THE DIAGNOSTIC
Once our technician completes the diagnostic, we will submit your claim to your home warranty company. This process includes identifying the parts needed for your repair and working with vendors to locate and price them. While we always prioritize sourcing parts locally, some parts—particularly for older or specialized units—may need to be shipped from out of state, which can extend the timeline.
ORDERING PARTS AND REPAIR TIMELINE
Our trucks are stocked with many components; however, if your repair requires specific parts or major components—like compressors, coils—these will need to be ordered. Special order parts may be available locally and can be available in a few days. Components such as evaporator coils, handlers, condensers & coils are often shipped from out of state and can take 1 to 2 weeks to arrive, depending on availability and shipping timelines.
Our office team is dedicated to tracking the progress of your claim and the shipping status of your ordered parts. Once the parts arrive, we inspect them for accuracy and damage before contacting you to schedule your repair or installation as soon as possible. Please note that we cannot schedule your repair until the parts are in hand and verified.
Rest assured, we will keep you updated throughout the process and notify you as soon as the parts arrive. There’s no need to call to check on the status—we will reach out to you with updates.
HOW MCM MEMBERSHIP SPEEDS UP HOME WARRANTY CLAIMS
During Arizona’s peak summer season, it can take anywhere from 48 hours to 2 weeks for a home warranty provider to inspect your system. However, with an MCM membership, we can come out the next day to get your unit diagnosed and your claim started, significantly speeding up the process.
While we still need approval from the warranty provider before beginning repairs, our status as a premium dealer with several home warranty companies ensures the process is smooth and expedited. We aim to start repairs immediately once we have the necessary components & green light, minimizing downtime and restoring your comfort as quickly as possible.
In addition to faster claims, MCM membership helps prevent costly denials by providing regular maintenance and detailed reports that keep your warranty compliant. Members also enjoy up to 20% off non-covered repairs, ensuring peace of mind, savings, and fewer unexpected charges.
PRE-INSTALLATION CHECKS FOR LARGE COMPONENTS
If your home warranty company provides larger components, such as an AC compressor or a major equipment, we may need to schedule a pre-installation visit. This step ensures that the equipment will fit properly in your home and that the installation site is fully prepared.
This is a critical step to avoid delays and ensure the process goes smoothly. Taking care of these checks in advance helps prevent any last-minute surprises and ensures that your new equipment is installed correctly.
HOME WARRANTY DECISION TIMEFRAME
Once we submit your claim, the home warranty company has up to 48 hours – 72 hours to review the information and make a decision. During this time, they may contact you directly if they need additional information. If further details or photos are required, we will schedule a follow-up visit to gather the necessary documentation.
Prompt responses to your warranty company can help avoid delays and expedite the review process. Once your claim is approved, we’ll be able to move forward with repairs or replacements.
HOME WARRANTY COMPANIES: BENEFITS AND LIMITATIONS
Home warranty companies can be a valuable resource by significantly reducing the cost of repairs or replacements. However, they are not designed for emergency service, and some delays are to be expected during the repair process.
Recommendations for Your Comfort: If your home becomes uncomfortable while waiting for the repair, consider staying with family or in a hotel. Portable cooling or heating solutions can also provide temporary relief until the repair is completed.
ONCE THE PARTS OR MAJOR COMPONENTS ARRIVE
When the parts or major components arrive, our team will contact you in a timely manner to schedule your service at our earliest time available.
Our goal is to complete your repair efficiently with minimal disruption to your home. We’ll make sure everything is handled smoothly and without delay, so you can enjoy the comfort of your home as soon as possible.
